Ministry Leadership Intern Application

Purpose: 

To help build confident and competent leaders in different areas of ministry to teach and reach more people with the Gospel. 

The ministry leadership internship is designed to give aspiring leaders exposure to ministry through observation, education through study, and experience in ministry through service. We hope that through this program, leaders will gain clarity about their calling, gifting, and feel competent and confident to lead others in faith. 

Requirements:

  • 10-12 hrs per week of study & service; 1 year
  • Signed & agreed with Redeemer's Ministry Partnership commitment and Statements of Faith 
  • Have taken, or currently planning to take, Redeemer's discipleship class "How to Study the Bible"

Objectives for the Internship Program:

  • Assist ministry leaders in your department with planning, administration, and leading events or services. 
  • Prepare and teach lessons in your ministry context
  • Exposure to various ministries within the church and how they run
  • Disciple and baptize others
  • Facilitate a small group or class
  • Discover a personal vision and plan for ministry leadership
  • Complete Internship Course Work
    • Theology & The Mission of God, Devotion (Spiritual Formation), Discipleship, Christian Leadership,  *Assigned ministry elective
